Like a child, Whole Hog Sausages grew from an idea into something to be ever so proud of. It has challenged and rewarded us and our family. It has taught us lessons we would never have learned otherwise. It has brought people into our world we would never have met. It has given us love, laughter and a vast network of people we are proud to call friends.

Jim has accepted a position in the Ministry of BC Agriculture which will allow him to help other BC food businesses grow and thrive. Anyone who knows our history and our passion for local food will understand how excited we are that he will be able to work on the bigger picture of making the BC food industry a more vibrant and exciting place.

We will be looking in the next couple of months for someone to adopt our “baby”. We have heard from so many of you over the years about the value you place on the food we have been making for you, and we want to find someone new who can carry on that work and continue to be part of your lives.

We only source non-medicated,

no-added-hormone meat for

our sausages and bacon!


Three amazing flavours of bacon. Old Fashioned, English and Austrian. All absolutely free of preservatives and nitrates. Made with sea salt and organic cane sugar.

Our sausages are very low in sodium with only 0.008% sea salt added to each batch. We do not add fillers of any kind, so we don’t need to add more salt to make the fillers taste like something!

We use natural casings and all our sausages are in the dinner sized casings. They are very lean and you must take care when you cook them. Please see our cooking instructions page for best results.
